NFL Star Saquon Barkley Joins Nationwide’s ‘So Much More’ Campaign
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, has teamed up with insurance and financial services giant Nationwide for their latest advertising campaign. Barkley will star alongside former NFL quarterback and longtime Nationwide spokesperson Peyton Manning in a new commercial set to debut during the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The new commercial continues Nationwide’s “So Much More” campaign, which highlights that the company is more than just a great insurance provider – it’s one of America’s largest financial services companies. In the ad, Manning explains that just as Nationwide offers more than insurance, Barkley is more than just an All-Pro running back. He emphasizes Barkley’s role in helping his teammates stay focused during high-pressure situations.
“It’s every running back’s dream to be on a great team with a great quarterback. I get both as part of my new partnership with Nationwide,” Barkley said. “To work alongside Peyton Manning and Nationwide, a brand that truly cares about their customers and the community, is an honor!”
Ann Bair, Nationwide’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, praised Barkley’s alignment with the company’s brand and values. “Saquon Barkley is one of the most well-known, well-liked, and accomplished players in the NFL today,” she said. “As dynamic as he is on the field, he brings that same energy to positively impact his community.” Barkley has been nominated twice for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which is presented by Nationwide.
This isn’t Nationwide’s first foray into high-profile advertising. Previous commercials in their campaign have included “Paintin’ Manning” and “Debatin’ Manning,” both featuring Peyton Manning. The addition of Barkley brings fresh energy to the campaign, showcasing the company’s commitment to partnering with influential figures who embody their brand values.
