Foresters Financial Raises Dividend Interest Rate
The Independent Order of Foresters has announced an increase in its dividend interest rate to 6.00% for eligible participating certificate holders in the US, effective May 1, 2025. This change represents an increase from the previous rate of 5.90% and reflects another successful year from an investment perspective, demonstrating the organization’s diversified and high-performing portfolio.
“This increase in the dividend interest rate demonstrates our strong commitment to our members and highlights our financial position,” said Alvin Sharma, global chief financial officer. The organization’s ‘A’ (Excellent) rating from AM Best for 24 consecutive years underscores its financial strength and stability. Foresters Financial marked its 150th anniversary last year, celebrating this milestone with various initiatives, including a $50,000 donation to You Can Rise 2 (YCR) in Edmonton, Alberta, as part of its member-nominated ‘BIG Give’ contest.
