Lockton Appoints New Leaders for U.S. Healthcare Practice

Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Ethan Crain and Rebecca Cady to co-lead its national Healthcare Practice. This move underscores Lockton’s continued investment in industry specialization and commitment to serving the healthcare sector.

Crain and Cady bring extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of complex healthcare risks to their new roles. Their leadership will build on Lockton’s existing healthcare talent and strengths while driving an enterprise strategy forward through investment, resource alignment, innovation, and tailored solutions. These will help healthcare organizations navigate rapidly evolving challenges and deliver high-quality care.

“The healthcare industry faces significant challenges, including rapidly evolving regulations, threats to federal funding and reimbursement, supply chain uncertainty, and workforce challenges,” said Chris DiLullo, Lockton’s U.S. Industry Practices Leader. “Ethan and Rebecca’s expertise positions us to address these multifaceted challenges and help clients manage risk while delivering better outcomes in a changing environment.”

Ethan Crain previously served as a Managing Director for Marsh’s Healthcare Practice in the Northeast. With over 25 years of experience working with healthcare clients, he has led teams providing solutions for complex insurance needs across all areas of risk in healthcare. Crain is a multi-year Risk & Insurance Power Broker winner and serves on the board of directors of The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare.

    Lockton's new Healthcare Practice Leaders
Rebecca Cady joins Lockton as a highly accomplished healthcare legal and risk management expert. Most recently, she served as Chief Risk Officer at Children’s National Hospital. Cady has received numerous accolades, including being named a Business Insurance Women to Watch, ASHRM Risk Manager of the Year, Risk & Insurance All Star, and RIMS Risk Manager of the Year.

“Lockton has always been dedicated to serving the healthcare industry,” said Crain. “Today’s healthcare organizations must do more with less, and I look forward to continuing to help clients solve their key challenges.”

Cady added, “This is an exciting opportunity to bring the voice of the client to the industry. Lockton’s private ownership, commitment to client service, and culture of empowerment enable us to offer specialized solutions for healthcare organizations.”

Crain will be based in Boston, while Cady will be based in Washington, D.C. Both will report to DiLullo.
