Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a partnership with Dhofar Insurance Company (DIC), the largest insurance enterprise in Oman. As part of this collaboration, DIC will implement TCS’ flagship insurance solution, TCS BaNCS for Insurance, to drive its long-term growth and transformation.
Dhofar Insurance Company, established in Oman in 1989, holds a significant market share of over 18% in the region’s general insurance sector. The partnership with TCS aims to accelerate DIC’s digital transformation by setting up a modern insurance platform leveraging next-generation technologies. This will enhance customer and advisor experiences across various business lines, including life, medical, general, and motor insurance.
Through this implementation, TCS will help DIC streamline its existing product lines and improve business agility while introducing new products to the market. The modern insurance platform is expected to support DIC’s growth strategy and improve its competitive position in the Omani insurance market.
