Jeju Air has formed a strategic alliance with Shinhan EZ Insurance to enhance customer convenience. On the afternoon of May 12th, Jeju Air signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with Shinhan EZ Insurance at Jeju Air’s Seoul branch in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Key Developments
The partnership builds on previous collaborations between the two companies. In February, Jeju Air and Shinhan EZ Insurance improved the procedure for subscribing to traveler’s insurance by adding a traveler’s insurance purchase function to the flight reservation process. This change reduced the subscription stage and improved the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
New Services
- Discount on Insurance Premiums: A 5% discount on insurance premiums is offered when two or more people sign up together.
- Expanded Eligibility: Customers who do not use Jeju Air can now subscribe to traveler’s insurance on the website.
Fee Relief Plus Service
The companies are set to launch a new service called “Fee Relief Plus,” which covers up to 90% of cancellation penalties incurred when a ticket is canceled after issuance. This service is expected to further enhance customer convenience by providing compensation for inevitable cancellations up to one day before departure.
