Multiple Citations Issued to Commercial Truck Driver in Norwalk, CT
Police in Norwalk, Connecticut, recently stopped a commercial dump truck for failing to stop at a stop sign on Wilson Avenue. The May 5 traffic stop, captured on a motorcycle officer’s body cam, resulted in multiple citations for the driver. According to the Norwalk Police Department, the driver was cited for:
- Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign
- No Driver’s License
- No CDL Endorsement
- Unregistered Vehicle
- Misuse of Plates
- No Insurance
The vehicle was subsequently towed. The Norwalk Police Department’s Traffic Division Officers were conducting ongoing commercial motor vehicle enforcement during the stop. “We remind all commercial truck drivers to adhere to Connecticut’s commercial vehicle laws and regulations when driving in the City of Norwalk, CT,” the police department stated.
