With over 14 years of underwriting experience, Kattman joined Aspen in 2017 and previously served as senior vice president and head of field for inland marine. Based in Atlanta, he will now lead the company’s inland marine underwriting team, overseeing both strategy and risk management. Insurtech company Send Technology Solutions has promoted Shelley McCormack to chief of staff to support the company’s international expansion plans. McCormack joined Send from Aviva, where she managed the rollout of Send’s Underwriting Workbench for Global Corporate and Specialty. Since joining Send, she has successfully led delivery, customer success, and various strategic projects. Reporting directly to CEO Andy Moss, McCormack will focus on driving cross-functional collaboration and supporting strategic growth initiatives with both customers and partners.
AXA XL Appoints New Chief Underwriting Officer for APAC and Europe
AXA XL has announced the appointment of Tavpraneet Singh as chief underwriting officer for international financial lines across the APAC and Europe regions, effective June 1. He succeeds Ana Dores, who has taken on a new role as country leader for Iberia. Singh will oversee underwriting strategy for professional indemnity, management liability, financial institutions, cyber, and mergers & acquisitions in these regions. With extensive experience at AXA XL, Singh has held several senior positions, including regional product leader for financial lines and cyber since 2021.
