A Texas homeowner has taken to TikTok to share her frustrating experience with State Farm Insurance after being a loyal customer for thirty years. The woman, who goes by @gigilife101 on TikTok, explained that she had never filed a claim with State Farm until last year when a storm damaged her roof.

The ordeal began when a State Farm worker inspected her roof’s solar panels and subsequently denied her claim, stating that the damage was a result of poor maintenance by the homeowner and her husband. State Farm suggested she get a second opinion, which ultimately determined that she needed a new roof. After five months of waiting, State Farm finally approved her claim and covered the cost of the new roof.

However, the woman is still waiting for State Farm to reimburse her for additional expenses related to the damage. She believes that the insurance company is deliberately prolonging the process in the hope that she will give up. Frustrated with the experience, she announced on TikTok that she is switching to a different insurance provider and recommends a roofing company in Texas and Oklahoma to her followers.

The woman’s story has resonated with many on TikTok, with users expressing their support for her decision to leave State Farm. The incident highlights the challenges that customers can face when dealing with insurance companies, particularly when it comes to claim disputes and customer service.
