Lisa Krouse, a prominent executive from Sarasota-Manatee, has been appointed as the CEO of First Tee Sarasota/Manatee (FTSM), a nonprofit organization focused on youth development through junior golf programs. Krouse succeeds David Perritt in this role.

Krouse brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having served over 15 years at FCCI Insurance Group as an executive vice president and chief administrative officer. She later became the CEO of the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County, a position she held from August 2021 until June 2023.

    About Lisa Krouse’s Background

    Lisa Krouse
Krouse has a personal connection to golf, having taken up the sport in 2010 when she was in her 50s. She has been playing for 15 years and has developed a passion for the game.

Krouse’s Vision for First Tee Sarasota/Manatee

“There’s a perfect alignment with my passion for building talent for our future and FTSM’s golf-based character programs,” Krouse said. “These programs naturally build life and leadership skills that empower our future leaders in all areas of life, including school, friendships, and eventually careers.”

Matthew Arcari, the board chair of First Tee Sarasota/Manatee, expressed confidence in the decision to appoint Krouse. “We were fortunate to have an exceptional candidate who understands our local community and will bring a growth mindset to the organization,” he said.

Under Krouse’s leadership, FTSM is expected to continue its mission of providing affordable and accessible golf instruction to local youth, many of whom have little or no exposure to the sport.
