UnderwriteMe, a prominent provider of digital underwriting solutions for the life insurance sector, has announced the integration of The Exeter’s Life Insurance product onto its Protection Platform. This development advances UnderwriteMe’s mission to enable advisers to serve more clients efficiently. Advisers can now access fully underwritten quotes for The Exeter’s Life cover alongside other insurers and products within a single workflow, facilitating comparisons and purchases. The integration also allows advisers to benefit from multi-benefit discounts when purchasing multiple products from The Exeter, streamlining the process further.

“We’re excited to welcome The Exeter Life product on the Protection Platform,” stated Mark Cracknell, Commercial Director at UnderwriteMe. “Their commitment to innovation and adviser-centric design aligns perfectly with our goal to streamline protection distribution and improve outcomes for customers.”

Jack Southcott, Head of Protection Proposition at The Exeter, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its reflection of The Exeter’s commitment to digital transformation and expanded insurance access. “Our new multi-benefit plans enable advisers to combine our life and income protection offerings, continuing to provide life insurance for customers with pre-existing conditions who may face challenges obtaining coverage elsewhere.”

Rick Brough at The Insurance Surgery noted that Exeter’s Real-Life plan enhances The Protection Platform, benefiting clients with higher loadings who can secure coverage at the point of sale without requiring medical evidence. This development is expected to reduce pre-sales underwriting calls by utilizing the platform’s real-time underwriting tool.

The Protection Platform currently serves thousands of financial advisers across the UK, facilitating research, comparison, and application submission for fully underwritten protection products from leading insurers. The addition of The Exeter’s Life Insurance product expands the platform’s offerings and enhances the adviser experience.
