Ausure Strengthens National Presence through Coastsure Merger
Ausure Insurance Brokers has officially rebranded its Nerang-based brokerage, formerly known as Coastsure Insurance Brokers, to Ausure Insurance Brokers Gold Coast effective July 1, 2025. This move follows Ausure’s successful acquisition of Coastsure in late 2024, consolidating their presence in the region under a unified brand.
The integration brings together the previous Ausure Gold Coast office and Coastsure under a single operational structure. Notably, Coastsure had operated as an authorized representative of Ausure for over a decade before the full acquisition. David Beard, founder of Coastsure and now Ausure’s area manager, described the merger as a natural progression in their continued evolution as a professional insurance broking service.
“This natural alignment made joining the Ausure group an obvious choice in our continued evolution as a professional and proactive insurance broking service for our growing client portfolio,” Beard explained. The rebranding is part of Ausure’s national branding strategy, rather than a change in operational delivery. Existing clients will continue to be serviced by the same team, with current policies and agreements remaining in place.
Rolf Van Dulst, general manager of broking at Ausure, emphasized that clients will benefit from both local service and national resources. “Our clients get the best of both worlds with the same personal professional service they have come to expect from the team at Nerang whilst having access to the national strength and resources of the Ausure group,” he said.
The merger aims to provide broader access to specialist insurance products, updated technology platforms, and increased internal support. Ausure CEO Scott McCarthy highlighted that the integration will enhance management capabilities and create career pathways for staff across both entities. The company also plans to invest in digital innovation to improve operational efficiency and client servicing.
The rebranding positions Ausure Insurance Brokers Gold Coast as part of a growing network that includes locations in Brisbane, Applecross, and Mandurah, supporting the group’s ongoing national expansion strategy.
