Neptune Flood’s AI-powered underwriting platform, Triton, has played a crucial role in the company’s significant increase in premium capacity, reaching over $400 million for 2025. This represents a substantial rise from $300 million last year, driven by the company’s nationwide expansion across the United States.

The increased premium capacity has been supported by more than 30 insurance and reinsurance partners, including global reinsurers and specialty carriers. These partners contribute to Neptune’s private flood insurance portfolio and participate in its expanding underwriting operations. “Securing over $400 million in premium capacity demonstrates the strong support we’ve built across the global insurance and reinsurance markets,” said Trevor Burgess, CEO of Neptune Flood. “Triton continues to deliver strong results for our partners and affordable, fast flood insurance for our policyholders.”

Neptune Flood has announced its full availability across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., following the launch of its products in Alaska. The company’s private flood insurance offerings now provide a simple, digital solution to property owners nationwide. “With this expansion, Neptune now offers a comprehensive flood insurance solution to property owners across the country,” said Matt Duffy, President of Neptune Flood. “This achievement reflects the power of our technology and the dedication of our partners to helping close the flood insurance gap in America.”

Neptune provides private flood insurance alternatives to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), utilizing its AI-based platform to automate underwriting and simplify the purchasing process for both residential and commercial properties. The company offers coverage through digital distribution channels, including agents, lenders, and direct-to-consumer models, with policies available within minutes. This process aims to eliminate the delays commonly associated with traditional flood insurance transactions.

The company’s nationwide expansion and increased capacity position Neptune to offer more insurance solutions to property owners who may be underserved by existing programs. Neptune Flood was founded to provide a digital, data-driven model for flood insurance and has continued to add capacity and expand availability since its launch.
