Higginbotham announced on Wednesday its acquisition of Program Insurance Group. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Georgetown, Texas, Program Insurance Group offers business, nonprofit, and personal insurance, serving clients throughout Texas, according to the company’s statement. They have a staff of around 25 employees.
Program Insurance Group is also the creator of EZ CERT, a national insurance certificate tracking service designed for franchisors and franchisees, the Higginbotham statement noted.
Higginbotham currently ranks as the 20th-largest broker of U.S. business, based on the most recent rankings published by Business Insurance.
