Campaign Developments
While the race has been relatively quiet, a political committee recently brought up a past issue involving White. He addressed the 2001 forgery/fraud charge, explaining it as a payment dispute with subcontractors. White said he ultimately paid the subcontractors, and the charge was dropped. Robert Burns, a political blogger, has questioned Cronin’s residency, though Cronin has stated his intent to reside in the district as required by law.
