AXA XL Announces New Regional CEO for Asia
AXA XL Insurance has announced the appointment of Ms. Sylvie Gleises as its regional CEO for Asia, effective March 24, 2025. This strategic move reinforces the company’s commitment to the dynamic commercial insurance markets within the region.
In her new role, Ms. Gleises will oversee AXA XL’s strategic direction as well as operations throughout Asia. Additionally, Gleises will maintain her current position as CEO of AXA XL Singapore Insurance operations. She takes over from Mr. Gilles Fromageot, who has been appointed CEO of AXA Morocco and CIMA.
Ms. Gleises brings over two decades of experience in her field. She joined the AXA Group in 2006 and is well-regarded within the industry.
She is an alumna of ESCP French business school and holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. Ms. Gleises is also the President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and serves on the Global Advisory Board of The European Art Fair Foundation.
