
Bandhan Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Maneesh Mishra as its Chief Product and Marketing Officer. Mishra will now oversee product design, management, and marketing initiatives, playing a key role in the company’s expansion and innovation strategy.
Mishra brings to Bandhan Life a wealth of experience, having spent over 23 years in the life insurance sector. His background encompasses product development, sales strategy, and corporate sales. Notably, Mishra has a strong track record in bancassurance and distribution partnerships, which has helped him scale businesses. He previously held leadership positions at IndiaFirst Life Insurance and HDFC Life, where he spearheaded the development of new product initiatives and sales strategies.

Recent milestones include expanding its workforce to more than 1,000 employees by December 2024, the opening of a new office in Kolkata, and strengthening its presence across North and East markets through 1,700 Bandhan Bank branches. The company is also broadening its product offerings, with plans to introduce ULIPs, term plans, and savings products to better meet the evolving needs of its customers. Mishra’s expertise will be crucial in advancing the company’s customer-focused insurance solutions as it continues to grow.
