CRC Group has appointed Todd Jones as its new chief growth officer, effective June 2025. Jones will report directly to CEO Dave Obenauer and will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Jones brings extensive experience in the insurance industry, having previously served as executive vice president for risk capital at Aon. His background includes leadership roles such as CEO of QBE North America and head of risk & broking at WTW. At Aon, Jones worked across the risk capital segment, supporting teams and clients in executing strategic plans with a focus on business growth.
The appointment of Jones supports CRC Group’s broader goals related to talent development and long-term strategic planning. His experience in reinsurance and brokerage has made him a prominent figure in the industry. Jones holds a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.
This appointment comes as CRC Group continues to expand its operations. Last month, the company announced the hiring of Matt Zelenc as senior vice president within CRC Specialty’s ExecPro and Healthcare Practice Groups. Additionally, CRC Group unveiled a strategic rebrand to unify its operations and reinforce its position as an independent wholesale and underwriting firm. The rebrand included retiring the TIH brand and replacing it with CRC Group’s corporate brand, with operations now structured under two divisions: Specialty + Benefits and Underwriting.
