Ryan Specialty LLC announced the appointment of Dawn D’Onofrio as executive vice president, global chief underwriting officer, of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, its specialty underwriting division, on Tuesday.
Ms. D’Onofrio will report to Miles Wuller, CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, in this newly established role.
Based in Miami, Ms. D’Onofrio previously served as CEO of WKFC Underwriting Managers Inc., AgRisk Underwriters, and Ryan Specialty’s national programs business. She was also recognized as a 2016 Business Insurance Women to Watch winner.
This transition marks the beginning of a 90-day process for integrating WKFC and AgRisk into Velocity Risk Underwriters LLC, following Ryan Specialty’s acquisition earlier this month.
Ravi Singhvi, president of WKFC, will continue to lead WKFC and AgRisk as the specialty business within the merged entity, Ryan Specialty confirmed in a statement.
