This service allows designated individuals, like family members, to claim insurance on behalf of the policyholder. Registration is conveniently available through a mobile application.
To utilize the service, policyholders can register a proxy claimant through the mobile app. The application process is then completed via a dedicated internet page, with separate instructions provided for the policyholder and the designated proxy claimant.
Heungkuk Life Insurance anticipates completing all procedures, including the receipt date, within three business days. The service is available to both existing and new customers without a subscription history, provided they complete the necessary family relationship verification.
The designated proxy claimant can be a spouse or a relative within the third cousin relationship. Policyholders can easily register, modify, or delete a proxy claimant via mobile. Alternatively, they can also designate a proxy claimant by visiting an existing call center or branch.
Kwon Jung-wan, head of the contract management team at Heungkuk Life Insurance, stated, “We have enhanced the proxy claim system to provide greater convenience, enabling contractors who cannot claim insurance directly to receive their benefits promptly. We plan to expand digital services that customers can readily utilize in the future.”
