Hub International Bolsters Team with Strategic Hires and Acquisitions

Hub International Limited, a prominent global insurance brokerage and financial services firm, is expanding its team and service offerings through strategic acquisitions and new hires. The firm recently announced the addition of financial advisors Steven Glasgow and Jordan Sibler, along with the acquisition of their books of business. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Glasgow and Sibler bring over 25 years of combined experience in retirement and wealth management services. They will be based in Nashville and join HUB Mid-South to continue serving their clients.

“We’re excited to welcome Steve, Jordan, and their team to Hub,” said Joe DeNoyior, president of Hub Retirement and Private Wealth. “They bring a collaborative approach that reinforces our mission to provide comprehensive, tailored financial strategies to individuals and businesses.”

Tony Leonard of MidCap served as the financial advisor in the transaction.

Other Recent Developments at Hub International

In other recent moves, HUB International has made several key appointments demonstrating its commitment to growth and strategic expansion.

Last month, Fran Scott was appointed as national health & performance practice leader. Scott will take the lead on strategic initiatives aimed at providing solutions to employee benefits clients throughout North America. Linda Keller, national employee benefits chief operating officer and practice leader, commented on Scott’s appointment: “Fran has played a significant role in driving the employee benefits practice forward with her leadership, hard work, and commitment to excellence. The HUB Health & Performance practice is critical to our strategy in providing valuable guidance and solutions to our clients, who are focussed on promoting their employees’ total well-being.”

Furthermore, Carol Murphy has been named North American casualty practice leader. She will oversee the continued development of the casualty practice, with a focus on expanding strategic solutions. Murphy joined HUB in 2023 and was instrumental in fostering the growth and development of the company’s casualty practice. She plans to expand insurance solutions and strengthen the company’s casualty expertise to attract and cultivate talent across the country.

Chris Treanor, HUB president of programs and specialties, noted that Murphy’s appointment underscores the firm’s focus on investments in commercial lines technical capabilities, which he indicates are central to HUB’s growth strategy.
