NEW YORK, March 10, 2025 – Independence Pet Holdings (IPH) announced today that Munir Hafez has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With over three decades of experience aligning IT with business strategy, Hafez will spearhead the company’s technology initiatives and drive transformative growth. He brings a deep background in digital transformation, software engineering, and cloud technologies to the role, with expertise in delivering next-generation applications across ERP, web, and mobile platforms.
Hafez also has a proven track record of successfully implementing agile-at-scale methodologies across various programs and teams.

Hafez began his career as a software developer at Siemens. Prior to joining IPH, he held senior leadership positions at Harris, PwC, Deloitte, and EY. Most recently, he served as the CIO at TransUnion, where he oversaw digital technology initiatives for consumers and employees across more than 35 countries.
