Indonesia Delays Mandatory Vehicle Insurance Program
According to the Jakarta Globe, Indonesia’s planned implementation of mandatory third-party liability (TPL) insurance for motor vehicles has been delayed. The program, initially slated to begin in January 2025, is now on hold as the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), the country’s financial services authority, awaits a government regulation.
