Marsh Appoints New Leaders in US Surety and Construction Claims
Marsh, a global insurance broker and risk advisor under Marsh McLennan, has announced two key appointments. Fran Curran has been named US surety leader, while Todd Schweitzer will serve as US construction claims leader.
Curran, based in Philadelphia, has been with Marsh for 24 years and most recently led the Southeast surety practice. In her new role, she will oversee a team of 100 surety specialists nationwide, with a focus on enhancing credit capacity and managing financial risks across various industries.

Schweitzer, who joined Marsh three years ago, brings nearly 40 years of experience to his new position. Based in San Diego, he previously specialized in complex construction claims. He will now lead Marsh’s US construction claims team, overseeing claim management and resolution.
BenefitMall Expands Presence in Florida
BenefitMall has appointed Jim Scheib as benefits sales executive for North Florida. This appointment is part of the company’s strategic effort to bolster broker support in the region. Scheib will cover the Florida Panhandle, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas.
Scheib brings 35 years of experience in employee benefits and group insurance, with a focus on group disability, major medical, dental, and vision insurance. He will report to market director Jennifer Drake.

Embroker Names Vice President of Underwriting
Embroker has appointed Stephen Easley as vice president of underwriting. Easley has 25 years of experience in specialty and professional lines underwriting. He previously held leadership positions at AIG, CAN, and USLI, where he built and led underwriting teams, developed specialty products, and helped shape coverage for management liability, tech E&O, and cyber.
Euclid Transactional Announces Global Promotions
Euclid Transactional, a managing general agent specializing in transactional insurance underwriting and claims handling, has announced a series of global promotions. In North America, Corey Connelly, Hasnaa El Rhermoul, and Sean Kim have been promoted to managing director. Kim Heessels will assume the role of managing director, head of secondaries, while Alice Ho has been named managing director, head of APAC.
In EMEA, Dave Luckett and Crystal Png have been promoted to chief underwriting officer for the EEA and the UK & London Markets, respectively. Lucy Darbey has advanced to chief distribution officer, EMEA and APAC, and Daniel Moesinger has been promoted to senior vice president, head of DACH.
On the claims team, Brittany Zimmer has been promoted to deputy general counsel and managing director of claims. Rose Kenerson and Nick Morales have been appointed associate general counsel and managing director of claims. The company stated that these promotions, part of a total of 47 increases in titles and responsibilities, reflect its focus on retaining talent and delivering superior client service.
