Insurance Firms Strengthen Teams with Key Hires

Several leading insurance firms have recently announced strategic appointments designed to enhance their service offerings and expand their expertise. These moves reflect a continued focus on strengthening teams in key areas such as casualty, employee benefits, and commercial lines.

Brown & Riding Strengthens Casualty Expertise

Brown & Riding, a prominent insurance brokerage, has welcomed Hayley Cassis back to the firm as vice president and casualty broker, specializing in construction. Cassis brings extensive experience in the construction sector, a valuable asset to the firm. Jeff Rodriguez, President and CEO of Brown & Riding, noted that Cassis’ industry knowledge and dedication will significantly strengthen the firm’s capabilities.

Earlier this month, Brown & Riding also announced that Michael Davis has joined Chris Bading in leading the firm’s national property practice.

Liberty Company Expands Employee Benefits Team

The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has appointed Derrick Martine as vice president, producer, specializing in employee benefits. Martine will be based in the Irvine, Calif., office. He brings a decade of experience to the role, having begun his career in life insurance before transitioning to employee benefits. Martine previously worked at Morris & Garritano Insurance Services as an advisor.

This appointment follows Liberty Company’s previous addition of Pierce Dyer as vice president/producer in August.

LP Insurance Bolsters Commercial Lines Leadership

LP Insurance Services, LLC has appointed Cathy Santoni as director of commercial lines. In this role, Santoni will lead the commercial lines service team and contribute to the company’s operational initiatives. With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Santoni holds professional certifications and has worked at LP Insurance for twenty years, bringing a solid background in commercial lines, risk services, and operational process development. She is based in Phoenix.

LP Insurance also expanded its commercial lines team in northern Nevada in October, with the addition of Travis Reed. He supports businesses with tailored risk management and mitigation strategies.
