Insurance Fraud Scheme Targets Accident Victims
The California Department of Insurance reported on February 18, 2025, that an insurance fraud ring allegedly focused on car accident victims.
This scam involved towing vehicles and keeping them at repair shops until large cash payments were made.
The same group faced similar charges in San Bernardino County back in 2022.
