Major Insurance Companies Announce Leadership Changes and Expansions

Marsh has appointed Jim Dunn as its new US Construction practice leader, bringing over 30 years of experience in the construction insurance sector from his previous role at Aon. Dunn will lead Marsh’s efforts to deliver innovative risk management advice and insurance solutions to construction clients.

In other news, Coalition has appointed Manny Cho as head of the West Region, continuing its expansion efforts across North America. Cho brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held senior leadership roles at Risk Placement Services, AXIS Capital, CNA Insurance, and AIG.
EmPRO Insurance Company, a provider of medical professional liability insurance, has expanded into Massachusetts with the opening of its first office in the state. The company has appointed three senior executives to lead this growth: Michael Miller as vice president of underwriting and head of the new Boston office, Michael Kubik as vice president of business development, and Brian Kriger as vice president of underwriting.

Origin Specialty Underwriters Agency has also announced leadership changes, promoting Charlie Acosta to president and appointing Matthew Schardt as head of casualty. Acosta brings over 20 years of industry experience, including leadership roles at AIG and StrongArm Tech, while Schardt has two decades of experience in the excess casualty market.
