Protecdiv has appointed Tamika Puckett as executive vice president and leader of its public sector practice. Puckett joins from WTW, where she previously led the public sector division, and had senior risk management roles at Zoom and the City of Chicago. In her new position, Puckett will oversee risk management solutions for federal, state, and municipal clients. Protecdiv CEO Kael Coleman stated that Puckett’s diverse background across both public and private sectors positions her well to strengthen the firm’s public sector offerings.

United Insurance Brokers Limited (UIBL) has appointed Sean Scales as associate director in its marine division. Scales will focus on North American cargo and stock throughput, bringing experience from several years with Lloyd’s brokers. Shaun Barrington, CEO of UIBL, explained that this hire is part of the firm’s strategy to enhance its capabilities in the North American market. David Waller, deputy managing director of the marine division, added that Scales’ appointment reflects UIBL’s commitment to attracting experienced talent.
NFP Adds Music Industry Specialist in the UK
NFP, an Aon company, has named Martin Alsop as managing director in the UK. Alsop will lead the development of NFP’s music industry practice through Clay GBP, a business management consultancy recently acquired by NFP and now part of Ground Control Business Management. Ground Control offers business and tax services to high-net-worth individuals, including entertainers and athletes. Alsop brings over two decades of experience advising UK and international touring artists. He previously held roles at Live Nation Entertainment and accountancy firm Dales Evans & Co. Ltd. Chris Bucci, CEO of Ground Control, said Alsop’s appointment supports the firm’s goal to expand its services within the music and touring segment. Clay GBP is expected to operate under the Ground Control brand following full integration.
