    Insurance Industry Sees Wave of Senior Appointments

    Insurance Industry Welcomes New Leaders

    Here’s a look at some of the most recent senior appointments in the insurance sector, showcasing a dynamic landscape of leadership changes and strategic moves.

    LOCKTON, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Øyvind Larsen as CEO of Lockton Norway, effective April 1st, 2025. Larsen joined Lockton in December 2023 as Head of People Solutions Norway. He brings nearly three decades of experience in the insurance industry.

    WINN GROUP has appointed Mike Wall as its new Head of Insurance Relationships. With four decades of industry experience, Wall will support the company’s growth and ambitions. In his new role, Wall will report to Winn CEO Chris Birkett.

    MGAA, the Managing General Agents’ Association, has appointed Alison Cairns as its new Training and Development Manager. Cairns joins the MGAA from AXA UK, bringing extensive experience in insurance training and development

    Charles Goodman
    . He will support existing clients and drive new business. Goodman has extensive expertise in employee benefits and workplace pensions and joins a team of over 20 specialists.
    Lindsay Shipper
    , effective April 1st, 2025, reporting to Richard Montminy. Mrs. Shipper will be based in Atlanta, GA.

    Charity Bare
    . She will report to CEO Alex Powell. Bare will be responsible for a team of 16.
    Jeremy Shallow
    of Syndicate 1200, subject to regulatory approval. Shallow previously served as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Specialty.
    Suzanne Liversidge
    to support its global growth strategy. She will work with the leadership team, including CEO Matthew Doughty and senior partner David Abbott.

    COMPRE Group Holdings Limited has appointed John Howard, former CEO of Truist Insurance Holdings, as its independent non-executive chairman, subject to regulatory approval.

    Sean Farrelly
    . Farrelly joins IMS following a year of international business growth.
    Sian England
    as account executive. She’s worked in the insurance sector for over 30 years.
    Dhara Patel
    . She succeeds Matt Button.

    REDGRAVE, an executive search firm, announces the launch of its Energy & Natural Resources practice. The initiative will be led by Raj Rajesh.

    Marsh
    , effective immediately. George will report to Martin South, President and CEO, Marsh.

    QBE is expanding its Warranty & Indemnity presence and has appointed Samuel Pihl to the new role of transactional liability underwriter at QBE Nordics.

    Emilia Dean
    . Dean will assume global responsibility for the Club’s legal matters and corporate governance.

    ARCH Insurance has announced the appointments of Carmen Cobeta as Head of Casualty, Spain, and Irene Fernandez Franic as Senior Casualty Underwriter.
