Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is proud to announce that Joe Horstman has been awarded the Governor Agent honor, a recognition given to the company’s leading agent of the year. In an additional achievement, Horstman was inducted into the company’s elite Lifetime President’s Club over the weekend. This prestigious designation is reserved for agents who have secured a Top 10 award in 10 different years with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance.
Horstman’s successful career with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance began in May 2002. He finds satisfaction in cultivating connections within his community, while also educating his clients about the value Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance and its parent company, Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc., offer.
“I have the opportunity to work with self-made individuals, especially farmers and business owners,” Horstman said. “They inspire me to improve the service I provide and protect them with our insurance products.”
Horstman also credits his success to the strong working relationships he has with the company’s underwriters and his local office staff. He specifically acknowledged Diane Cooley, a field operations associate in Benton County, who has been a constant support throughout his career, crediting her as a key factor in his ability to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships.
“I hope that reaching this milestone and winning this award demonstrates that I’ve earned my clients’ trust,” Horstman stated. “Our goal is to ensure our clients have a clear understanding of their insurance coverage, and we strive to make that process as simple as possible for them.”
While Horstman writes policies for clients across the state, his primary area of service includes residents in Benton, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, and White counties.
