Mangrove Property Insurance, a Florida-based company, has announced a series of strategic hires to fill key leadership positions, bringing in executives with decades of experience in the insurance industry.
Tim Cotton has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Cotton brings 30 years of experience to the role, with 28 years specifically focused on the Florida property market. His background includes developing insurance solutions for home repair and restoration programs.

Other key appointments include:
- Chris August as Head of Distribution. August has over two decades of insurance industry experience, spanning various areas of the insurance services chain.
- Allan Franklin as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Franklin brings nearly 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, with a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and ethics.
- Eduardo Miranda as Senior Vice President of Risk, Underwriting, and Analytics. Miranda has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including underwriting, risk and exposure management, data analytics, and loss control roles.
- Brian Turnau as Claims Director. Turnau has over 20 years of experience in the industry, primarily focused on claims-related operations for several insurance companies.
