Michael Humphreys serves as the Insurance Commissioner of Pennsylvania, a position he has held since February 28, 2022, with unanimous confirmation on June 27, 2023. His responsibilities encompass regulating the state’s insurance market, overseeing licensed professionals, monitoring the financial stability of insurance companies operating in Pennsylvania, consumer education, and ensuring fair treatment for residents.
Under the guidance of Governor Shapiro, Commissioner Humphreys has prioritized making mental health and substance use disorder parity a reality in the Commonwealth.
