According to a 2024 survey conducted by Figo Pet Insurance, a significant number of pet owners are prioritizing their animal companions. The study found that 58% of pet parents prefer to include their pets on trips. Moreover, a quarter of owners in their 30s expressed that they would choose their pet as a movie date if theaters were pet-friendly.
In celebration of National Love Your Pet Day, Figo launched its “A New Leash on Love” giveaway, aimed at pet parents and their beloved companions. The contest offers a $1,000 Airbnb gift card for a pet-friendly getaway, a $500 Amex gift card for a special dinner at a pet-friendly restaurant, or a $250 PetSmart gift card for a shopping experience. To enter, pet parents can participate by commenting “SWIPE RIGHT” on Figo’s Instagram post. Winners will be informed on National Love Your Pet Day, which falls on February 20th, providing them with an opportunity to commemorate the holiday in a special way.
