PetPlace and Pets Best Launch “Heroic Hearts Collective” to Highlight Pet Rescues
NEW YORK – February 26, 2025 – PetPlace and Pets Best Insurance have introduced the “Heroic Hearts Collective,” a new initiative designed to honor and support pet rescues throughout the U.S. The program will recognize outstanding rescues with cash donations and other resources.
Five winning rescues will each receive a $1,000 cash donation, 50 standard microchips, a universal microchip scanner, and a feature story on Petplace.com.
“The unwavering dedication of pet rescues deserves to be celebrated for the life-changing work they do for pets and their communities,” said PetPlace President, Sam Watson. “We want to hear heartwarming stories of dedication, inspiring stories of pet rescue, and tales of determination that have transformed the lives of pets and the people who love them. These rescues, their devoted staff, and volunteers deserve to be recognized, and it’s our honor to thank and reward five of them in this new contest.”
To nominate a rescue, visit petplace.com/heroic-hearts and complete the online form. The form requests the rescue organization’s name, contact details, a brief description of its achievements over the past year, and an optional photo. The contest closes March 21 at 11:59 PM ET, and winners will be announced between April 7-11, 2025.
