BOSTON, May 22, 2025 — Duck Creek Technologies, a global intelligent solutions provider for property and casualty (P&C) and general insurance, has awarded Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) its 2025 Standard of Excellence Customer Award at the Formation ’25 conference in Orlando, Florida. The award recognizes PHLY’s exceptional implementation of Duck Creek’s cloud-native solutions, including Duck Creek Policy, Insights, and Producer Portal, to modernize their Business Owners Policy (BOP) delivery.

    Key Achievements

PHLY achieved significant advancements in operational efficiency, customer experience, and market responsiveness through their digital transformation. Key accomplishments include:

    • Automated policy lifecycle management for improved speed and accuracy
    • Real-time data access and analytics for better decision-making and compliance
    • Modern agent-facing experience through the Duck Creek Producer Portal
    • Rapid BOP product deployment across multiple states using pre-configured templates and scalable APIs

The reimagined BOP offering launched in three states in late 2024, with plans to roll out to 20 additional states throughout 2025. This transformation has resulted in increased market share, improved customer satisfaction, and stronger agent engagement for PHLY.

    Industry Impact

“Philadelphia Insurance Companies demonstrated what’s possible when a forward-thinking insurer embraces modern technology to meet complex market demands,” said William Magowan, SVP North American Sales at Duck Creek Technologies. PHLY’s strategic use of Duck Creek’s solutions serves as a prime example of how carriers can achieve meaningful transformation with speed and scale in the P&C insurance industry.
