    Pramerica Life Insurance Reports 99.18% Individual Claims Paid Ratio for FY24-25

    Gurugram, June 26, 2025 – Pramerica Life Insurance, one of India’s fastest-growing life insurers, has achieved a 99.18% individual claims paid ratio for FY24-25, demonstrating its dedication to prompt and compassionate service during critical life moments. This milestone continues the company’s upward trend in claims performance over the past three years, with ratios of 98% in FY22, 99% in FY23, and 99.06% in FY24.

    During FY24-25, Pramerica Life settled 722 individual death claims, disbursing ₹34 crore in death benefits. The company maintained an average turnaround time of just 3 days (72 hours) from receiving final documents, showcasing that operational efficiency and human empathy can coexist.

    Several customer-focused initiatives support this performance, including:

    • Dedicated Claims Relationship Officers assigned to each claim
    • A centralized Claims Helpdesk for queries from claimants and distributors
    • Tele-investigations to speed up verification
    • Digital tools like QR code scanning and online checks to enhance accuracy and speed
    • Direct bank transfers for timely and secure payouts

    In times of crisis, Pramerica Life proactively identifies affected policyholders and prioritizes claim settlements. The company activates Special Claim Help Desks and disseminates information through press notes, its website, and social media.

    The company has also launched ‘Pratigya Kavach,’ a dedicated initiative for defense personnel, ensuring claim settlement within 3 days and providing additional assurance to this segment and their families.
