Market Performance

Market Outlook
Nandish Shah, Deputy Vice President of HDFC Securities, noted that the immediate resistance for Nifty is at 24,545, which is the 61.8% retracement of the fall from its all-time high of 26,277 to the low of 21,743 on April 7, 2025. The support for Nifty has shifted to 24,072.
Vinod Nair, Head of Research at Geojit Investments, observed that the Indian equity market has maintained its positive momentum, driven by better IT results and optimistic forward-looking comments. However, profit booking was visible in financials after the recent sharp rally.
