Sedgwick Expands Senior Leadership Team in Canada
Sedgwick has appointed Robert Lepine as regional vice president for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and Melanie Mercier as manager in Quebec. Both appointments are strategic moves to support the company’s growth in Canada.
Lepine brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held senior leadership positions on both the insurance carrier and independent adjusting sides of the business. He will be responsible for managing and growing the Quebec and Atlantic Canada regions at Sedgwick.
Mercier has more than 20 years of experience as a claims adjuster and auditor. She has significant expertise in training, mentoring, and quality assurance developed through her past leadership positions.
“At Sedgwick, we have an opportunity to continue to set new standards for client service and claims excellence across Canada,” said Michael Alwyn, president at Sedgwick Canada. “With the depth of experience Robert and Melanie now bring to our team, I am confident they will advance our focus on innovation, strengthen client relationships, and grow our business across Canada,” he added.
These appointments follow other recent leadership moves for Sedgwick Canada, including Stewart Kirkpatrick, who was appointed as executive general adjuster in early April, and Kumar Siva, who was appointed chief operating officer in February.
