Steadfast Group Broadens Trading Platform in New Zealand

Steadfast Group, the biggest brokerage network in Australasia, has broadened its client trading platform in New Zealand to include personal lines insurance products. This expansion includes home, contents, and car insurance. The announcement, made earlier than anticipated, marks a significant step for the company in the New Zealand market.

According to a media release, Ando Insurance Group (Ando) is the first insurer to join the platform.

“The success of our business pack on SCTP [Steadfast Client Trading Platform] with six insurers, has paved the way for this exciting new offering, which has been well received by our broker network,” said Neil Cousins, CEO of Steadfast NZ.

    Streamlining Processes

The platform aims to “streamline processes,” enhancing efficiency for both insurers and brokers while improving client interactions, the release stated.

Cousins emphasized the positive impact, saying, “The response to, and success of, our pilot allowed this national launch across the Steadfast network to be accelerated and occur ahead of schedule.”

Ando’s CEO, John Lyon, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. He stated that Ando looks forward to trading personal lines with Steadfast brokers “in a way that’s fast, efficient, and ultimately delivers better insurance experiences.”

Steadfast operates as an insurance broker and agency network across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States of America. Based on their media release, these networks place over AU$25 billion in gross written premium each year.
