Sun Life and Wellthy Partner to Enhance Life Insurance Benefits
Sun Life U.S., a leading provider of group benefits, has partnered with Wellthy, a personalized care concierge platform, to offer enhanced support services for its life insurance members and their families. This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive guidance and resources for navigating end-of-life planning, loss, and grief.
The partnership builds on Sun Life’s commitment to improving access to care and making health and benefits more manageable for its members. Wellthy’s platform offers personalized support, advocacy, and resources to help families cope with the challenges associated with bereavement and end-of-life care.

Wellthy’s care team, comprising professionals with extensive experience in social work, medicine, and patient advocacy, provides tailored support to families. Their services include:
- Planning for the future: Resources for will preparation, power-of-attorney, and documenting end-of-life wishes
- Navigating care: Assistance with hospice and palliative care, scheduling medical appointments, and arranging respite care
- Managing a loss: Support for funeral planning, resolving outstanding bills, and navigating survivor benefits
- Supporting grief: Connections to bereavement support groups and resources for emotional wellbeing
Sun Life members will gain access to Wellthy’s services as part of their basic or voluntary group life insurance starting January 1, 2026. The partnership is available in most U.S. states.
