Agadi brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance, management, consulting, IT, and publishing sectors to this new role. Most recently, he served as president of MC Solutions, a Connecticut-based consulting firm focused on strategic initiative development and enterprise program management for insurance companies in group benefits and individual life insurance.

“As Symetra continues its commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to employers and their employees, we are delighted to welcome Ravi as our new VP of Platform Partnerships,” said Lisa Marecki, senior vice president, Workforce Benefits. “Since Ravi began working with us in a consultancy role, he has helped develop and execute our supplemental health benefits strategy to drive greater success.”

Marecki also noted that Agadi has been instrumental in identifying platforms that align with Symetra’s customer-first approach to products and services, playing a significant role in developing key initiatives with Employee Navigator, Nayya, Selerix, Workday, and other leading human resources information systems and benefits administration platforms. According to Marecki, “His ability to connect with our external partners and deliver the Symetra story has been a true differentiator for us.”

Agadi is a member of the LIMRA Data Exchange Standards Committee. He holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Symetra offers a range of group benefits, including life, disability, absence management — including paid family medical leave (PFML) — and stop loss insurance. Its supplemental health products include critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance, designed to complement other plans.
