Japanese insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance is set to acquire a 15% stake in U.S.-based W. R. Berkley, a move aimed at expanding its presence in the specialty insurance market.
MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings Inc. announced the merger of its core non-life insurance subsidiaries, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, with a target date of April 2027.
