Disgraced former U.S. Rep. George Santos sentenced to 87 months in prison for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft

Disgraced former New York Congressman George Santos is set to be sentenced on Friday after being convicted of lying to donors, stealing identities, and misusing campaign funds.

Angela Cooper, 47, was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison for embezzling funds from her employer, AMK Heating and Cooling, and committing identity theft. She also failed to report additional income to the IRS.

Jessica Stuart, previously convicted of fraud and identity theft, was sentenced to prison for violating the terms of her supervised release.
