    The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company Reduces Humana Inc. Stock Holdings

    The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company Decreases Stake in Humana Inc.

    The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company reduced its holdings in Humana Inc. (NYSE:HUM) by 4.4% during the fourth quarter, as per its recent 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. The company owned 108,944 shares of Humana’s stock after selling 4,999 shares during the period, valued at $27,640,000.

    Other institutional investors have also adjusted their stakes in Humana. FPC Investment Advisory Inc. acquired a new position worth approximately $27,000, while Centricity Wealth Management LLC purchased a new stake valued at $30,000. LFA Lugano Financial Advisors SA increased its holdings by 56.3%, now owning 125 shares worth $32,000. OFI Invest Asset Management and Transce3nd LLC also acquired new positions worth $33,000 and $38,000, respectively.

    Analyst Ratings and Stock Performance

    Several research analysts have issued reports on Humana. JPMorgan Chase & Co. maintained a “neutral” rating with a $256.00 price target. Cantor Fitzgerald also kept a “neutral” rating but with a $290.00 target price. Royal Bank of Canada issued an “outperform” rating with a $283.00 price target, while Raymond James upgraded Humana to “outperform” with a $315.00 target. Guggenheim initiated coverage with a “buy” rating and a $326.00 target price. The consensus rating among analysts is “Hold” with an average price target of $287.76.

    Humana’s stock opened at $256.11 on Friday, with a 50-day moving average of $266.20 and a 200-day moving average of $270.62. The company has a market capitalization of $30.91 billion and a P/E ratio of 25.74. Humana reported $11.58 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $10.07. The company’s revenue was $32.11 billion, compared to the estimated $32 billion.

    Humana recently declared a quarterly dividend of $0.885 per share, payable on July 25th to stockholders of record on June 27th. The ex-dividend date is June 27th, representing an annualized dividend of $3.54 and a yield of 1.38%. The dividend payout ratio is currently 35.58%.

    Humana Inc. provides medical and specialty insurance products in the United States through its Insurance and CenterWell segments. The company offers medical and supplemental benefit plans to individuals and has contracts with various states to provide Medicaid and long-term support services benefits.
