Tokio Marine Highland Introduces TMH2O Digital Flood Insurance Solution

Tokio Marine Highland, a property and casualty underwriting agency, has launched TMH2O, a comprehensive digital flood insurance program designed for residential properties. This innovative solution aims to simplify the insurance process for agents and provide extensive coverage to homeowners.

The TMH2O program offers a fully integrated, self-service online portal that enables real-time submission, qualification, quotation, binding, payment collection, and policy issuance. This 24/7 accessibility is designed to streamline the complex process of obtaining flood insurance. According to Lauren Savage, president of Tokio Marine Highland’s private flood services division, “TMH2O represents the next evolution of our product offerings to ensure we meet the ever-changing needs of the market and deliver the exceptional customer experience that our agents have come to expect.”

TMH2O provides several benefits not typically found in traditional National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) or other private flood insurance products. These include additional living expense (ALE) coverage, basement coverage, and expedited claim processing handled by Precise Adjustments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokio Marine Highland.

The program is available for various residential properties, including single- and multi-family homes, other structures, condo units, and contents-only renters in 42 states. Key coverage highlights include:

    • Building limits up to $1 million
    • Contents limits up to $500,000
    • ALE limits up to $50,000
    • Multiple deductible options ranging from $500 to $25,000

Additional features of TMH2O include lender-compliant policies, no waiting period, no coinsurance penalty, and replacement cost coverage for both buildings and contents.
