Verint Announces Major CX Automation Deal with Top U.S. Insurance Company

MELVILLE, N.Y.–Verint®, The CX Automation Company™, has signed a $13 million multi-year agreement with one of the largest U.S. insurance companies to implement AI-powered bots across its customer experience (CX) operations. The deal, announced on May 28, includes deploying several bots to automate manual workflows for the insurance company’s 6,500 agents, with plans to scale to over 12,000 agents.

The implementation of Verint’s AI-powered bots is expected to significantly enhance workforce capacity by automating repetitive tasks. Based on previous experiences with other insurance companies, Verint anticipates that the customer will see a more than 50% increase in supervisor capacity and a more than 25% increase in agent capacity. This is projected to result in substantial value creation and a return on investment exceeding 10 times the initial outlay.

“Equipping contact center agents with AI-powered bots that quickly and seamlessly automate tedious workflows is driving massive savings and elevating experiences for both employees and customers,” said Jaime Meritt, Verint’s Chief Product Officer. The insurance company benefited from Verint’s hybrid architecture, allowing them to adopt AI without disrupting operations and achieve stronger outcomes.

The agreement was finalized in Q1 and was part of Verint’s Fiscal Q1 roadmap. For more information on the benefits of CX Automation and AI-powered Verint bots, visit Verint Open Platform.
