WalkerHughes Insurance Expands Presence in Vincennes, Indiana
WalkerHughes Insurance has announced the acquisition of McCormick Insurance Agency, Inc., marking its second agency addition in the area. The move follows the 2024 integration of United Insurance Services.
McCormick Insurance, founded in 1960 by Don McCormick, has served Knox County for over 60 years, specializing in farm and personal insurance. The agency has maintained strong connections with local clients.
“McCormick Insurance is one of the oldest agencies in Vincennes, and our staff has been here longer than I have,” said Lee Tuggle, co-owner of McCormick Insurance. “This team is more like family than coworkers, and our clients are more like friends. When it came time to consider the next chapter, it was important to find a partner who would honor those relationships. I’m confident we’ve found that in WalkerHughes.”

The McCormick office will remain in its current location, continuing to serve Knox County alongside United Insurance. The integration will provide McCormick access to additional markets and operational resources while maintaining client relationships.
