Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. has promoted Matt Ryden to the position of Western States Senior Counsel, recognizing his expertise and contributions to the company’s underwriting team.
Ryden joined Westcor in 2014 as underwriting counsel and has since become a vital part of the company’s legal and underwriting operations. With a background that includes 11 years in private law practice at various law firms in Boise, Idaho, Ryden has extensive experience in insurance defense, employment law, business, and real estate transactions. Before entering law, he worked in the technology and banking sectors.
Currently, Ryden is responsible for underwriting in Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, and Hawaii. His promotion will see him contributing additional expertise and approval authority to the Western States underwriting team, further enhancing Westcor’s capabilities in these regions.
