The Parmer Group has acquired The Zigmund Company, an insurance consulting firm previously located in Penbrook. The acquisition means The Zigmund Company has relocated to The Parmer Group’s headquarters in Swatara Township, specifically at 5300 Derry St. The move took place in January.
The Zigmund Company has been in business for over four decades, providing services that include analysis, advice, and risk management assistance related to property, liability, professional, and workers’ compensation insurances. Courtney Scamardella, a consultant with the Zigmund Company for many years, now leads the operation.
